Dutch research and design featured on second Biennale of Architecture and Urbanism in Shenzhen and Hong Kong
Dutch research project ‘Greetings from Pendrecht’ by Martijn de Waal is being featured on the second Biennale of Architecture and Urbanism in Shenzhen and Hong Kong. The exhibition was opened on December 8th 2007 by Chinese filmmaker Jia Zhang-ke. For the exhibition Martijn de Waal worked together with Dutch graphic designers Leon & Loes. The symbiosis of Dutch research and design has resulted in an inspiring exhibit on the process of ‘space-making’ in Pendrecht, a neighbourhood in Rotterdam.
